From the artist
"I want a quick glance to bring joy and a longer gaze to bring discovery.”
As a fine artist, I am driven by a deep desire to bring my imaginative visions to life. Through my creative process, I am able to move beyond any hesitations or doubts and produce artwork that is both captivating and thought-provoking. My goal is to create pieces that the viewer can explore and discover more detail and meaning the longer they study it, evoking a personal emotional response that leaves a lasting impression.
One of the key elements of my artistic process is the use of color. I carefully explore how different shades, values, and pigments interact with each other, using color to drive the scale, composition, and materials I use in each piece. Materials are also a crucial part of my artistic vision, and I gather unconventional materials from my daily life, including remnants of my own consumerism, saved materials from meaningful moments, or ephemera acquired while traveling. Each element has its own story and significance, waiting to be interpreted by the viewer.
For collectors, my work provides a unique opportunity to bring a fresh perspective into their collection or space. With an eye for detail and a dedication to pushing creative boundaries, my art is a reflection of a deep passion for the beauty, life, and complexity of the world we live in.
